Though not known to most newcomers to the Charlotte region and other urban parts of North Carolina, we do have Piggly Wiggly stores in the Carolinas. In fact, there are two very close to Charlotte - one in Lancaster, SC and another in Clover, SC. Most of their stores are in rural markets of the Carolinas, mostly in the east. Charleston and Myrtle Beach do have their fair share of Piggly Wiggly stores as well. This store is at The Plaza at Shelter Cove in Hilton Head, SC and encompasses 30,280 square feet. (Crosland)

That looks very similar to the St Simons HT....it has that "beach" look to it.
I like it, very nice looking, but it lacks the pig. I still have a circular thingie from the original piggly wiggly in S'ville, somewhere in my closet at home.
