Publix - Columbia

This very unique Publix store in Columbia is the result of an adaptive reuse plan in the central city, and it is a former printing plant from the mid 1800s that is now an upscale grocery. Furthermore, it is important that we bring up Publix because it has been rumored for a while that they might be taking their business one state north to NC - finally, maybe? I guess we'll just have to stay tuned.

Great example of how to utilize an existing building with some architechtural and historical significance and support downtown development.
